During the shooting of the funeral scene for their then-upcomingAvengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was attending the set as it was being shot right around the 10th anniversary of the MCU. There, he recalled watching all of the major stars gathered at one place to shoot the solemn scene where everyone was mourning the loss of Tony Stark. He also rememberedGwyneth Paltrow, who plays Stark’s wife Pepper Potts in the franchise, asking why theDjango Unchainedstar was there, to which all of the cast stood in shock after hearing her. He said:
“Gwyneth Paltrowwas asking whySam Jacksonwas there, and the other actors were jumping in saying, ‘What are you talking about? He’sNick Fury! You’ve been in movies with him.’ But it was really something special,”
Although it was a shocking moment, to say the least, the entire cast of the MCU was able to gather and make a memory before entering the new phase of the franchise and leaving the old times behind.
