Back in September, the Internet was set on blaze after Puerto Rican sensation Bad Bunny and acclaimed actor, Gael García Bernal shared a steamy moment in their Amazon Prime movie,Cassandro. Recently, the latter has thrown a light on doing the kissing scene with his co-star.

In an interview withVariety, acclaimed Mexican actor, Gael García Bernal spilled the tea in the making of his Amazon Prime Video’sCassandro. When he was asked about the sensational kiss that he shared with his co-star,Bad Bunny, he smiled as he replied,

“You know, he got to kiss me also. I just want to mention that to put that out there.”

He further added that the intimate scene between the duo came“easy”to both of them.

“It’s about trust,”he told the outlet.“We just talked about it. It was fun and no problem.”

The movie revolves around García Bernal’s character, Saúl Armendáriz who struggles as a gay lucha libre wrestler. Throughout his journey, he takes on the persona of Cassandro, an exotic wrestler who performs in drag. From tackling homophobia and discrimination, he eventually became the celebrated champion of the ring.

Whereas, the music superstar played the role of Felipe, a drug dealer who gets introduced to the wrestling world through his promoter.While the MCU actor didn’t hesitate to elevate the scene, his co-star also shared the same vision.

In an interview with theTimeMagazine in March this year, he revealed that it was his“first kiss”for a movie.

“My first kiss for a movie and it was with a man,”he said, laughing.“That’s the penalty I get for being with so many women during my life.”

While his character hesitated to keep the moment going, the singer was not shy to take his job seriously.

“If you’re acting, you’re being someone you’re not,”he stated.“So when they asked me for that, I said, ‘Yes, I’m here for whatever you want.’ I think it was very cool; I didn’t feel uncomfortable.”

While it was his first time kissing someone in the movie, he is not an amateur in the world of cinema. Last year, the Puerto Rican singer made his featurefilm debutinBullet Trainalongside Brad Pitt. Not only that, he also performs in professional wrestling. Back in 2021, he began making appearances on WWE programming and eventually made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37.
