The gender pay discrepancy is still prevalent in many parts of Hollywood. It was recently revealed thatThe Hunger Gamesactress Jennifer Lawrence was paid less money than Leonardo DiCaprio despite both the actors having an equal amount of screen time.

“It’s hard for me to speak about my experience as a working woman because I can safely say my problems aren’t exactly relatable. When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with d**ks, I didn’t get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself.
She further continued,
“I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early. I didn’t want to keep fighting over millions of dollars that, frankly, due to two franchises, I don’t need. (I told you it wasn’t relatable, don’t hate me).”
The 32-year-old actress is now tired of all the fighting she has to do for equal pay in the Hollywood industry. She further stated that she doesn’t like to fight for her rights (as she rightly shouldn’t have to) and she would not like to be “spoiled” like some of her fellow male co-stars.
