Jonathan Majors Ended Up in Jail Due to the Couple’s Altercation
Jonathan Majorshas earned everything in a very short amount of time since his debut in Hollywood, be it the immense fame from his starring as the super-villain of the MCU or as the main antagonist ofCreed III,Majors has it all. The year was looking good for him, with two well-performing movies out there, andLokiseason 2 also coming out this year. But a sudden turn of events led him straight to jail. Though he was quickly set free, the female victim had visible injuries on her face and neck and is currently being looked after at a local hospital.

According to TMZ, it was reported that while traveling back to their apartment in Chelsea, the couple had an altercation as she tried to confront Majors when he was caught chatting with another woman. Majors in a desperate attempt to cover up the situation used force on her and allegedly slapped her, hence getting arrested and getting charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment which are no mere charges and can permanently end any individual’s career. In the case of Majors, his career is literally hanging on a thread, and only time will tell if he was innocent or guilty of using force.
Jonathan Majors’ Lawyer Turned Him From an Accused to a Victim
Immediately after theDevotionactor was put in custody he was set free. Since then, social media has been on fire, many are against Majors on this matter and are demanding him being dropped from the major franchise, MCU and some are in his support demanding to wait until the officials release more information about this matter. Jonathan Majors’ representatives have been working non-stop to clear up this situation and it seems that some result in support of Majors has been released.

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently”
“This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations. All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever”
The actor’s lawyer added that the woman in this scenario was having an emotional crisis and due to rules and protocols, regarding the 911 call, the police were required to make an arrest, and Jonathan Majors was held in custody for this sole reason. He further adds that all the necessary steps have been taken for proving the innocence of the actor and the charges held against him are expected to be dropped pretty soon.
