Part of the reason whyOne Piecelive-action became a major success on Netflix was the ability of the creators to adapt every scene, be it emotional or a fight scene to the perfect depth. They may have made some modifications to the storyline but their portrayal of the scene stamped a similar impression as the anime and manga series did for the fans. The most difficult part of the filming was to enact action sequences properly and not only make it look real but also keep up with the expectations fans had.

One Piece’slive-action stunt coordinator Koji Kawamoto explained how most of the stunts and sequences were done by the cast itself and very little CGI was used in terms of fighting scenes. One such instance that held the most importance was Zoro balancing his third sword in his mouth, which was real and not CGI.
