However, fans who can’t wait to see Holland as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again might not have to wait very long, with an insider suggesting he’s in line to tag along with Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson inDeadpool 3, all thanks to the Time Variance Authority.

How Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Could End up Featuring inDeadpool 3
The Time Variance Authority, an organization created by He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), is tasked to preserve the Sacred Timeline and prevent Multiversal conflicts.
So far, Marvel fans have only seen the TVA’s detailed background in the television seriesLoki, but now it seemsDeadpool 3writers are prepared to delve deeper into it.

According to insiderMyTimeToShineHello,Ryan Reynolds‘ movie will be centered around the TVA“picking up the prime versions of each hero to create a multiversal army to fight the Kangs.”In Tom Hiddleston-ledLoki, Sylvie Laufeydottir kills the TVA mastermind, resulting in the return of his Kang variants.
The insider further added that the TVA picks Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to recruit but he’s not fully on board. In a separatepost, MyTimeToShineHello clarified that the ‘prime’ version of Spider-Man isTom Holland, teasing his return as Peter Parker on the big screen.

We don’t even know in what capacity Holland would feature inDeadpool 3, if at all, but the suggestion of the TVA considering his Web-Head as the best version is already dividing Marvel fans.

What Tom Holland Said About Ryan Reynolds’Deadpool 3
Holland, who most recently impressed in Apple TV+’sThe Crowded Room, shared his thoughts onDeadpool 3stars Reynolds and Jackman, during the promotion of the show.
He also shed light on stunt coordinator and second unit director George Cottle, who worked with him inSpider-Man: No Way Home. The Englishman toldForbes:
“Yeah, of course I have. I’m a big fan of both of those guys. I’m sure the film is going to be fantastic. I know they have George Cottle (Jr.) on their side right now as their stunt coordinator and second unit director. You couldn’t ask for a better guy. So I’m very excited for the film. I wish them all the best and I can’t wait to see those two go at it.”
If the plot ofDeadpool 3,which is scheduled to release in the first half of 2024, is indeed going in the reported direction, the rumor mill is unlikely to just stop at Holland’s Spider-Man. Expect reports and subsequent debates on more surprising characters and cameos.
