Timothée Chalamet is a popular man. TheFrench Dispatchstar happens to have a sizable fan following (courtesy of his acting skills), with a large number of them being women (courtesy of his luscious locks and boyish charm).
The 27-year-old finds himself surrounded by fans wherever he goes. That is a habit that he has inculcated over his short career. But there was an incident that even he found too weird to handle. And it was related to his role inCall Me By Your Name.

Call Me By Your Nameis one of Chalamet’s best works to date. The movie, based on the book of the same name, made it clear to the world that he had the pedigree to make it big in the industry. It even got him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. However, there was one scene in the movie that later came back to haunt him.
In an episode ofVariety’s Actors on Actors,theWonkastar shared an anecdote with Daniel Kaluuya. In the Armie Hammer starrer, there is a scene where Timothée Chalamet got intimate with a peach, in his own words,“a great fruit love scene”.
Yes, gentlemen (and ladies)! Our beloved star boy got nasty with a peach.

A metaphor that turned very real
Originally, director Luca Guadagnino thought that the whole sequence was a metaphor and was best left to books. But the Italian director soon learned that it was more than just a metaphor after an experiment himself. That is how the scene made its way into the movie. And one fan decided to have some fun after that.
Timothée Chalamet told theJudas and the Black Messiahstar,
“Somebody dropped a bag of peach candies in front of me at Chipotle the other day and ran off.”
Kaluuya couldn’t help but smile, telling Chalamet,“That’s one for the memoirs.”And it truly was. That moment would always stick with Timothée Chalamet in his head. And so would the peaches, with the fruit also featuring on fan-made posters.
TheDunestar would of course love the posters. Did it have something to do with the peach? No one knows except him.
