When Quentin Tarantino famously said that he would make only 10 movies, the director did not mean that he doesn’t like to be credited for his legendary creations. The director, known for the pervasive use of profanity in his movies, is presently pissed after the $7.8 billionJames Bondfranchise simply didn’t credit him forCasino Royale. The man, who was once looking forward to making his ownJames Bondmovie, never joined the gang whilst creative differences.
Why Is Quentin Tarantino Pissed AtJames BondFranchise?
Quentin Tarantinohas been too vocal about his creative differences with theJames Bondfranchise. The legendary director, who almost directedCasino RoyalePierce Brosnan as 007, was told by the Bond team that his“vision was unfilmable”. Quentin had already discussed his idea with Brosnan.
Tarantino may not have been able to bring the first Bond novel to the big screen, but theJames Bondproducers went on to do their imagination of Fleming’s first novel. Well, they didn’t even bother to discuss his idea with him, and that bothered the Academy Award-winning director.

In a previous interview, Quentin Tarantino expressed his anger by stating:
“I wasn’t mad because they didn’t give me the movie to do, because I’m sure I wouldn’t have wanted to do it the way they wanted me to do it and they were never going to give me the final cut… But you know they should have talked to me about it, for the simple reason they said publicly Casino Royale was unfilmable, but the minute I said I would do Casino Royale all of a sudden it’s on the websites that that’s the film people want to see. So they should have just said, ‘Thank you’.”

Quentin Tarantino Could Have Done It Better!
This was not it! For years, theDjango Unchainedwriter and director refused to watch the movie as he felt extremely backstabbed by the Bond franchise. He once said,“I never saw Casino Royale because I was so mad at those guys.”He also expressed his desire of making another spy series.
Taking a hit at the Eon Production’s capabilities, Tarantino famously argued that the movie could have cost only $40 million instead of $115 million if he took it under his wings. We all know the man doesn’t fire blanks when it comes to making great movies.
The man had a plan! In a 2004 interview with BBC, Tarantino stated his approach to making a betterCasino Royale. He famously said that he bumped into Pierce Brosnan and talked about it. The actor loved his idea. While that might not have worked, Tarantino decided to come back with the originalCasino Royalebook to give it back to the franchise.
