Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds announced a bunch of collaboration characters that will be available as part of the base game and the Season Pass.
SEGA recently unveiled many playable characters for their newest title, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The game features many iconic, old, and new characters from the franchise, who engage in heated races.
Sonic Racing will already have a large cast of characters from the Sonic world. These include Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, among many others.
However, a major selling point was the introduction of many crossover and collaboration units, like Joker from Persona 5, and Ichiban Kasuga from the Like a Dragon: Yakuza series, to name a few. Here are all the collaboration characters in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

All Collaboration Characters in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Three characters have already been announced, which will be added for free to the game in a post-launch update. These are:
Moreover, these characters also come with additional vehicles you may use, modeled after them. However, that’s not the end. There will be many more units, which will be added post-launch. For now, we do not know the identity of these characters, only that there will be 10 additional ones.
SEGA will likely reveal details for these in due time. Moreover, not all characters will be available for free. Some of these will only be available through the Season Pass.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season Pass Racers
For now, we have information on three characters that will be added to the game through this method. Coincidentally, all three are from Minecraft. These units are:
Moreover, from the official website, we can surmise that 12 more characters will be added to the game through the Season Pass. These should be collaboration units.
The trailer also showcased some Minecraft tracks you can race through as well. This has the potential to bring various locations from outside franchises into the Sonic game. It will be interesting to see what further characters join the game from various franchises.
