Many different groups and factions are populating the Commonwealth in Fallout 4, but the three most powerful organizations are fighting for control of the area’s future. Finding the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 4
You can find the Brotherhood of Steel by visiting Cambridge Police Station, north and a little west of Diamond City Market. When you first arrive, you’ll find the location under attack by feral ghouls, and if you help the Brotherhood fight them off, they’ll be grateful.
Then you need to find thecompanionPaladin Danse, who will request that you help him and the Brotherhood with another task. Agree to help him out, and you will receive the Call to Arms quest. This will take you to the ArcJet Systems building, west and a bit north of the Police Station. Complete the quest, and Paladin Danse will give you theRighteous Authoritylaser rifle. Additionally, you’ll be asked to join the Brotherhood of Steel.

Assuming you say ‘yes’ to joining, Paladin Danse will return to the Cambridge Police Station, where you’re able to visit him for another quest. Additionally, in Fallout 4, the Brotherhood of Steel had rank levels in their organization. You’ll start as an Initiate but can improve your standing by completing additional quests and missions. Moreover, as your rank improves, you will also unlock access to special weapons and equipment from the Brotherhood quartermaster.Death From Above, for example, is a heavy weapon you can get once you reach the rank of Paladin.

Additionally, you’ll have to ensure that even if you are initially friendly with the other two factions, you do not advance their questlines too far. Once this choice is made, you will go on a killing spree, destroying two factions. ensure you are ready for the repercussions.
If you are friendly with the Railroad, ensure you do not complete the Underground Undercover quest. Doing so will anger the Brotherhood of Steel, and you will no longer be welcome at the Prydwen.

If you are friendly with the Institute, ensure you do not complete the Mass Fusion quest. The Brotherhood will attack as you try to leave with the Beryllium Agitator and discover your true loyalties.
