Although several fans agreed with the post, other people replied that the actress wasn’t that good or that she wasn’t worthy enough to get nominated for a Golden Globe!

Well, the movie did receive 9 Golden Globe nominations in various categories including nominations for Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and, Greta Gerwig. In a recent interview withVariety’sActors on Actors,Margot Robbieand Cillian Murphy talked about the time ofBarbenheimer. In thecultural phenomenon where two movies were face-to-face, the marketing was essentially done by the fans and Robbie and Murphy loved it.
“People are so clever. People kept asking me, “So is each marketing department talking to each other?” And I was like, “No, this is the world doing this! This is not a part of the marketing campaign.”
Cillian Murphy interjected,
“And I think it happened because both movies were good. In fact, that summer, there was a huge diversity of stuff in the cinema, and I think it just connected in a way that you or I or the studios or anybody could never have predicted.”
