Moon Knightwas certainly one of the highlights of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only did it have exceptional cinematography, character designs, and visual effects, but it also had some of the most captivating action sequences and amazing performances by actors. The story of the series, which was very well adapted from the comics, is extremely interesting and unique. while this series’s first season managed to exclude conversation about the rest of the Marvel Universe, with her, trying to focus on the story of Steven Grant, Marc Spector, and Jake Lockley, it can be expected, that future seasons and storyline will feature the character of Moon Knight eventually.

Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight

The question that would naturally arise now, is how he will tie into the main story of the MCU. It would seem, however, that the answer to this was already given in the first season of the series, too, in the third episode. It would seem, that an Easter egg, tying to a variant of Kang, was shown very early on into the miniseries.

Kang Easter Egg inMoon Knight

OnReddit, a user namedPocketBlackHoletheorized the possibility ofMoon Knightgoing head-to-head against Kang in the near future of the franchise, all based on a hypothesis that Khonshu isn’t only the God of the Moon and Vengeance, but also Time. To prove this theory, they provided quite a lot of evidence, including an Easter egg that was featured in the third episode, of the series, titledThe Friendly Type. In The Easter Egg, Marc Spector’s character is fighting off cult members, when one of them is seen, wearing a jacket. At the back of this jacket is a picture of Rama Tut.

Those who were familiar with the comics surrounding Kang the Conqueror are quite familiar with this name. Tut, also known as Nathaniel Richards, Is a variant of Kang and goes on to become a Pharaoh, by traveling back in time. it is also a well-known fact that Khonshu isn’t the biggest fan of Tut, having gone out of his way multiple times to defeat this character for being an impersonator of a God.

What Impact Could This Have Had On The MCU?

After this theory was proposed, he started a speculate that if this word were true, this would have had a big impact on the MCU in the past and it could explain a lot. One fan suggested that Rama Tut, or Kang could certainly have something to do with the fact that humanity gave up on Egyptian Gods, and they give up on humans as well. They believe he would have had people in ancient times, worshipping him to the greatest degree possible, building statues and monuments in his honor, and using past evidence of this character’s influence to support this.

Considering the power of the character, he could have persuaded people to reject gods. He would, instead, make them believe only in him, a man of great intellect, far ahead of that time, due to all the knowledge about technology that he could have gathered over centuries. This would certainly make an extremely interesting villain for the second season of the series, and seeing Moon Knight attempt to receive this variant would certainly cap audiences to a new degree.
