How To Beat Gypceros in MH Wilds
By far, the most devastating of Gypceros’s attacks is using the flash on its head. If you don’t have enough stun resistance, you’ll be rendered motionless after this attack. Without the ability to move around, you won’t be able to get out of the way of its incoming brutal attack that follows the flash discharge. That’s why we suggest going after its breakable head from the get-go. Don’t allow the monster to gain the upper hand. Unleash a flurry of Fire attacks on its head region, dealing extensive damage.
Another challenging thing during the battle is the inability to maneuver the battlefield as you need to due to the poison puddles that Gypceros creates. These will appear all over the ground, and you’ll take poison damage if you come into contact with them. Using your sling to shoot Watermoss at them is a wise idea in this scenario, as the item clears these poisonous puddles. you may find Watermoss in the areas where the fight occurs. Also, if you’re afflicted by its poison, make sure to use antidotes as soon as you can.
Apart from its stun and poison abilities, you also need to watch out for its physical attacks. Its tail can slash at you if you try to attack Gypceros from behind. Similarly, when you’re in front of the beast, it can peck down on the ground and inflict severe damage if you’re not careful.
