Activisiontook to X, formerly Twitter, to announce thatCall of Dutyis getting a new crossover withDunebefore fans move on toModern Warfare 3. It stated:“The most ferocious warriors in the known universe – the Sardaukar, are coming to Call of Duty.”BothModern Warfare 2andWarzonewill be getting a newDunebundle in the in-game store on November 1.
The announcement tweet did not mention what’s coming with the bundle but the main focus of the bundle will be theDuneSardaukar operator. For those who don’t know, the Sardaukar are the Padishah Emperor’s elite military force and have a unique fighting style that makes them very dangerous.

As the Season 6 ofModern Warfare 2was announced along side The Haunting back in September, they were several leaks and speculations about theDunecrossover. TheCall of DutyxDunecrossover is now confirmed and although the bundle details are still not in, the character skin and two weapon blueprints seem to headline the bundle. The weapon blueprint is shown in the X/Twitter post and includes the Ordnance weapon platform fromModern Warfare 2with a drum magazine.
The Sardaukar outfit also features three stripes on the chest plate and fans think it is to promoteModern Warfare 3. Since Dune doesn’t fall into the Horror genre, this bundle was likely supposed to drop whenDune: Part Twowould launch, which was initially set to release on July 05, 2025, and then was delayed to Jul 23, 2025. However,Call of Dutydecided not to wait for another few months and is now dropping it beforeMW3’slaunch.

The bundle will be available inModern Warfare 2andWarzonestarting tomorrow, November 1. Although Activision did not reveal an official price for the operator, it is expected to cost players somewhere around 2,400CODpoints or $19.99. Players can expect several other items in theDunebundle as the Nicki Minaj bundle that dropped earlier had a vehicle, skin, emblem, and more and theDunebundle could bring something like that too.
Activision has also announced that all the weapon blueprints, operators, and cosmetics will be transferred toModern Warfare 3with the Carry Forward program and theDuneSardaukar bundle will also transfer over so players worried about buying the bundle only for a few days whenCall of Duty Modern Warfare 3is just on the horizon might go on and just purchase it.
TheCall of DutyandDunecrossover is also expected to be the lastCall of Dutycrossover for quite some time since collaborations only arrive spring of next year after a new game release. As forModern Warfare 3, the game releases on November 10 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms, and players who pre-order the game, will get early access to the campaign mode on November 2.
