She has been in the news lately due to her absence from social media and on stage. Many fans have attributed her absence to her joining the Modern Mystery School, which many have alleged is a cult and a pyramid scheme. While Cyrus has not confirmed her involvement with the spiritual school, she was seen hanging out with members.

Has Miley Cyrus Joined A Cult?
After the release of her latest albumEndless Summer Vacationin March of this year, fans of the pop starMiley Cyrusnoticed that she had been missing in action from her social media. While she was not completely out, fans alleged that the pictures that were being posted had a different tone of voice than theHannah Montanastar.
Cyrus then reportedly announced that she would not be touring in support of her latest album as she was too tired to go around the world and live from a touring bus. While she expressed her love for her fans, she said that she simply was not in the right mindset to tour for her album and perform on stage.

This decision along with her alleged change in tone made many fans speculate that the pop star had joined a cult. A TikTok video by a fan called ‘Michelletok’ posted a viral video that spoke about Miley Cyrus hanging out with two ‘healers’ from the Modern Mystery School, a spiritual center that is allegedly a cult.
The TikToker also mentioned that Cyrus had attended a lecture event by the Modern Mystery School along with the healers. She said,
“Allegedly this is the reason Miley’s been so MIA. No performances, no public appearances, no promotion for the album at all aside from the Disney Plus special that was back in March.”
Miley Cyrus has not confirmed her involvement in the Modern Mystery School.

Is The Modern Mystery School A Cult?
Ever since Miley Cyrus was accused of joining a cult, there have been increasing eyes on the spiritual healing center The Modern Mystery School. Many former members and others have claimed that the ‘school’ is a cult that has shady practices. The organization claims on its website that it is the ‘Harvard of Metaphysics’.
A deep exploration of the school was done byVice, which alleged that members had spent upwards of $20,000 to obtain a certification in the courses offered by the school. Many members have alleged financial and s*xual exploitation. The leader of the organization, Gudni Gudnason has apparently claimed to be a descendant of King Solomon.
Michelletok also gave out some disturbing details about the school in her video speaking about Miley Cyrus’ alleged cult. She said,
“It’s allegedly an organization that trains healing practitioners in the tradition of the lineage of King Solomon. These healers are encouraged to join sacrifices every year. They sign contracts stating that they aren’t allowed to tell anyone about it.”
While there has been no confirmation from Miley Cyrus about her involvement, fans seem to be concerned about her being seen with members of the organization. Cyrus recently mentioned that she had realized how she was subjected to harsh treatment as a child and that she was on a healing journey.
