A piece of terrible news from tinsel town confirms that Marvel star Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58. Famous for his roles in movies likeThor,Rome, andPunisher, the actor was all set to reprise his role as the antagonist Baylan Skoll inAhsoka.

Not only that, but the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School alum also recently signed the deal for the historical1242: Gateway to the West, a drama where he was expected to play a Hungarian Priest defying Genghis Khan and his Mongolian army after replacing Kevin Spacey. However, his sudden death has inevitably put it on hold.

The recent update came from The Wrap when a representative of Ray Stevenson’s family spoke with the outlet to confirm the news. However, no further details have yet been disclosed. The news is especially shocking as theVikingsstar was not known to have any prior illnesses.
His fans and well-wishers all across the world are obviously heartbroken with the news as such a consistent performer both in the Television and Movie industry is quite rare.
