Mark Ruffalo has never been one to stay quiet when it comes to voicing his opinions. Whether it is political or not, positive or negative, and even if it is to bring light to certain matters. One of the most circulated news at the moment is about the submarine that was supposed to take five passengers to view the Titanic underwater.
The actor has now spoken up about the matter weighing upon the world as two tragedies took place side by side. However, one got more news coverage than the other. What is peculiar is the fact that Ruffalo’s comment created a massive controversy among fans, dividing them about his opinions. The accident has shaken the world immensely, and his comment might have created an uproar.

Mark Ruffalo’s Opinion On The Titan Submarine
Mark Ruffalorecently spoke up regarding the Titan Submarine and how it got massive news coverage. The Titan Submarine’s updates have been going from one place to another. The news has been up to date by the second, giving notification of even the slightest change. Recently the five people in the submarine have been claimed dead because of the underwater pressure leading it to implode. However, Ruffalo’s comment has been with regard to Barack Obama’s comment which highlighted how a ship collapsed near the Greek coast. It happened to be carrying 700 immigrants and as the ship was overweight, it could not handle as many people.
“We live in a media environment that has a perverse and distorted sense of what is newsworthy—weighing the stories of wealth and the wealthy against those tragedies of our less wealthy fellow human beings through this distorted lens.”
These people died and there is barely enough coverage regarding this news despite it being one of the biggest crashes in Greek history. According to Ruffalo, rich and influential people are getting more news coverage as compared to the poor and less fortunate.

Upon seeing Mark Ruffalo’s comment, fans have been pointing out how he is being insensitive toward those who have lost their lives while still agreeing that the Greek ship sinking should have received more news coverage than it did.

To me, it seems no one is able to distinguish news from entertainment these days. News should be factual information presented as is with no bluster. It does not entertain or sensationalize. It informs.

I disagree with this. News unfortunately is about sensationalism and what people would be most interested in being absorbed screentime with.

Many other fans are taking Ruffalo’s side, claiming that this was a natural way for the statement of ‘eat the rich’ to take place. There is a constant back and forth between the two sides as they argue about whether or not the actor is right.
