Insomniac Games focused heavily on creating something that the fans have never seen in the past two instalments, and it may have worked as many gamers have already hailed it as one of the best superhero games of all time.

The game director, who is closely involved in the development of the upcoming game, has revealed some interesting details about the game, including a new feature that will completely change how gamers perceive boss battles in video games. The game, which is a sequel toMarvel’s Spider-Man(2018) and a follow-up toMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales(2020), will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 later this week.

Ryan Smith, the game director at Insomniac Games, recently appeared for an interview with9Newsand revealed some exciting details about Insomniac Games’ upcoming game,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This one feature mentioned by Smith has created excitement among the fans,

“We have new features like the web line, where as a player you can create your own opportunities and there are new villains… It gives you a chance to really have some bombastic boss battles.”

Some rumors have claimed that the upcoming game can be platinumed in just 30 hours, which is quite short. To put things in perspective, 2018’sMarvel’s Spider-Manhad a playtime of 35 hours. On top of this, rumors also claim that the game will be much larger in size compared to its predecessors, 98GB to be precise.

The upcoming game is much bigger than the previous two games

Smith also revealed that the upcoming game will be twice as big asMarvel’s Spider-Man(2018) andMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales(2020) as they have completely pushed the limits this time,

“It’s nearly twice as big. And I think that it’s really fun because we’re building Marvel’s New York, right? And so it gave us a chance to put in new landmarks that people recognize and have in their imagination. One of the most gratifying things is when people go like, ‘This is the New York I always imagined.'”
