The Twisted Life-Story of Bill Cosby

The comedian, once known as‘America’s Dad,’lost his reputation after being accused of sexual assault by Andrea Constand in 2005. Constand was a staff member of Casy’s former university and claimed that the comedian drugged and molested her at his home.

After she decided to file a civil case against theGhost Dadstar, thirteen women also came forward as witnesses for her case. Cosby denied the allegations. The case was settled out of the court for an undisclosed sum in 2006.

Followed by this case, more than 50 women came out with allegations. However, most of these cases fall outside of the statutes of limitations. Soon court papers from Andrea Constand’s case were made public and revealed that Bill Cosby admitted to drugging and assaulting women.

The retrial of Andrea Constand’s case began on 16 August 2025 in Pennsylvania. The jury convicted him of three counts of sexual assault and months later he was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison.

However, in June 2021, Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his conviction claiming that his case should not have been put on trial as he already reached an agreement with the prosecutor under the 2005 case.

Earlier this month, Cosby was once again accused of misconduct by five women. However, his publicist Andrew Wyatt has called these charges “frivolous” and claimed that the five women are also among the “parade of accusers” who earlier accused the comedian.
