During the recent Star Wars Celebration fan convention in London, Lucasfilm revealed that they would be bringing back Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn in the live-action adaptation ofAhsoka. Seeing that the fandom lovedThe Witcherstar’s vocal performance in the animatedStar Wars: Rebelsseries playing the same role of the villain, many were hoping that the studio brings him back for a live-action version as well.

Thus, with the official announcement of Mikkelsen playing the villain, he has joined his brother Mads Mikkelsen in the Star Wars family with both of them working on different aspects of the popular cinematic universe.
