Jujutsu Kaisenis halfway through the story ofSeason 2. Ahead of the release ofEpisode 13, Japanese voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda has given an ominous sign about Nanami Kento’s fate.
Slated to have 24 high-quality animated episodes by MAPPA,Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2is currently at a critical stage. The Shibuya Incident arc has picked up pace with the battle between Nanami and Haruta. Next is the highly-anticipated Yuji vs. Choso showdown, which was teased at the end of the 12th episode.
As the narrative progresses and the heroes’ lives are staked,JJKfans are at the edge of their seats. Kenjiro Tsuda addressed them with an appreciation post on social media post to seemingly spoil the death of Nanami Kento.

Kenjiro Tsuda Hints At Nanami Kento’s Death inJujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Nanami Kento has been the highlight ofJujutsu Kaisen Season 2during Satoru Gojo’s absence. The praise is directed to Kenjiro Tsuda, who has recreated Kento’s stoic and reserved personality from the manga, and has delivered some iconic scenes in the second season.

Episode 12was a show-stealer due to Kento’s interrogation scene with Haruta Shigemo. Towering over the villain each time, he showed the difference in both their powers when a punch sent Haruta crashing into a nearby window. Overwhelmed, Kento broke Haruta’s spirit and his face at the end of the nearly two-minute fight sequence.
Fans absolutely adored the authoritative voice work of Kenjiro Tsuda inEpisode 12.That being said, he welcomed them with a post captioned “Thank you for supporting #nanamikento.”Jujutsu Kaisenmanga readers caught the subtle teaser about the character’s death.

When does Nanami Kento die in Jujutsu Kaisen?
A favorite of mangaka Gege Akutami, Nanami Kento is a former student ofJujutsu High. He mentored Yuji Itadori and Takuma Ino following Satoru Gojo’s insistence. In the ensuing Shibuya Incident Arc, he assists Yuji and Megumi in finding Gojo and freeing him from captivity in the Prison Realm.
Unfortunately, the mentor falls midway during his journey to Gojo. Nanami Kento dies inChapter 120ofJujutsu Kaisenat the hands of Mahito after he is grievously injured by a swarm of transfigured humans. In his final moments, Kento sees the apparition of Haibara before giving his goodbyes to Yuji Itadori.
Season 2 Episode 12covered the manga chapters 98-101. Thus, Nanami Kento’s death will be around the 20th episode or later. It will be quite a shock for anime fans as the season comes to a close but currently, the hype is aroundEpisode 13which is scheduled to be released on October 19.
