The megastar duo Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio reunited after their 1997’s hitTitanicfor another movie in 2008. The actors worked together for the Sam Mendes filmRevolutionary Road. Their pairing became very popular among the fans owing to the steamy s*x scene in the backseat of a car.
Kate Winslet shared in an interview with The Mirror about her long friendship with DiCaprio. She revealed that they became good friends after they met for the first time 25 years ago on the set ofTitanic. Winslet also shared that both wished to recreate their onscreen magic, and the opportunity knocked on their door with the historical dramaRevolutionary Road. The movie was directed by Winslet’s then-husband, Sam Mendes.
During the promotion of the film, Winslet and DiCaprio spoke very fondly of each other as they expressed love and affection.
She won a Golden Globe in 2009 for her excellent work as April in the film. The actress gave a special mention to her co-star in the speech. She said she was happy that she can stand on the stage and tell him that she has loved him for the past 13 years.

Kate Winslet revealed feeling awkward in the s*x scene with Leonardo DiCaprio
In the interview,Leonardo DiCapriotalked about filming tough scenes with her. He explained,
“We can push the boundaries with each other. We use the fact that we’ve been such good friends through the years to our advantage. There’s definitely a comfort level that we have between us and we challenge each other as actors.”
Sense and Sensibilityactress shared in the interview about the weird experience which shooting the intimate scenes in the film. Kate Winslet admitted that filming s*x scenes with him in front of her husband was quite awkward for her. She said,
“It was the element of, ‘OK my husband is over there.’ That was a bit weird.”
However weird the shoot was,Kate Winslethandled it well, and the movie was a box-office success.
Winslet’s marriage to Mendes ended in 2010, and now she is married to Edward Abel Smith, also known as Ned Rocknroll.
