Actor Jon Hamm, who stars as Roy Tillman in the fifth and latest season of the Noah Hawley-created anthology TV showFargo, made a recent appearance onJimmy Kimmel Livewhere he shared hilarious behind-the-scene tidbits about his buzz-worthy hot tub scene in the series’ second episode.

Besides adorning what the talent comically described as a“flesh-colored sock”for the nude sequence, his character also boasts npple rings. Fortunately, Hamm avoided having to experience the agony of the embodiment, as prosthetic npples were used instead. But the unusual subject did spark an idea that the actor believed might work for Hawley’s upcoming FX prequel series to Ridley Scott’sAlien.

Jon Hamm‘s character Roy Tillman is shown basking in a hot tub while wearing a cowboy hat and n*pple rings in the second episode ofFargoSeason 5. This piqued the intrigue of many viewers and is now being considered an iconic scene, where the character is dealing with two FBI agents completely butt-naked. OnJimmy Kimmel Live, the sequence became one of the primary talking points of the conversation between Hamm and show host Kimmel.
Kimmel queried whether or not the n*pple rings were real. In his clarification, Hamm explained the following:
“They were real npple rings pierced through a fake nipple if that makes any sense. […] Yes, I was (wearing fake npples.)”

And that’s where the prosthetic department’s magic came in handy.Jimmy Kimmelcouldn’t help but comment that the actor ultimately wore“quadruple npples.”Responding to the quip, Jon Hamm stated,“For the first time in my life, I had four npples.”
The actor also motioned down his chest to suggest that getting more than a quadruple faux n*pples might be a thing that can be done. In response, the show host implied it could be used for a sci-fi setting.“Noah Hawley’s doing Alien, maybe something like that?”Kimmel asked. Hamm agreed,“Yeah, they could do that.”
It’s an offbeat proposal, but it does conjure up some rib-tickling visuals. Besides dwelling on faux body parts, theMad Menalum also revealed having to wear a flesh-colored sock for the notable scene.

What’s visible to the audience during the hot tub sequence is the character’s bare back as the FBI agents are left to witness what’s in front. Jimmy Kimmel wondered how the scene was executed and asked what the actors observed. To this, Jon Hamm had the following reply:
“The glory of God’s creation… That, and a flesh-colored sock that is cinched around. It’s not pleasant. None of it is pleasant.”
When asked whether there’s a name for this, the actor jokingly concluded,“They call it a c—k sock, Jimmy.”
