“They were really deeply inappropriate to both of us about it. They ran like TV ads about it – It was really ugly.”
Bush met Chad Michael Murray on the sets ofOne Tree Hillin 2003 and got engaged one year later. Despite not being ready, Bush got married to Murray in 2005.

During her appearance on SiriusXM’sRadio Andyin 2018, Bush explained that she felt pressurized to get married byOne Tree Hillexecutives,
“What’s the fight? When you have bosses telling you that you’re the only person who gets a person to work on time, and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don’t because our days start on time?”
Murray later labeled Bush’s statement as “ludicrous.” Bush’s friends once claimed that Murray was never serious about their marriage and that is the reason why they got separated just five months after getting married. Between 2008 and 2009, Bush also dated herOne Tree Hillco-star James Lafferty.
