Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomis set to premiere on July 17, 2025. This movie marks the last DCEU film before James Gunn and Peter Safran reboot the universe in 2025. Conversations have already started about what this film might look like, and one particular talk involves Amber Heard’s involvement in the film.

The actress will be reprising her role as Mera (the former Queen of Dimension Aqua, Queen of Atlantis, and wife of DC Comics superhero Aquaman) amid her highly publicized legal battles with ex-Johnny Depp.
Although she had a big part in the 2018Aquaman, the upcoming film will only feature her in a few instances. But recently, a source revealed that the intervention of billionaire Elon Musk played a huge role in retaining the actress.
