Back in 2016 when the couple was happily married, Ben Affleck was hitting the gym regularly to give competition to his co-star Henry Cavill. Being rivals in the 2016 movieBatman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,Affleck had seen Cavill shirtless and he knew that he had to beef up his body for Batman.

In an interview, Jennifer Garner talked about how Ben Affleck’s body transformation was going and she was quite impressed with the actor. Stating that Affleck had gained 30 pounds with 8% body fat, Garner joked that she felt like she was having an affair with someone else.
“You know, he has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he’s 8 percent body fat. He looks pretty good. It’s a little bit like, ‘Whoa, who are you?’ It feels like I’m having an affair. But I don’t mind, I’m not complaining.”
These comments, however, were not bothersome to people at all. It was the next statement thatJennifer Garnersaid that seemed to give off a spoiler for the then-upcoming movie which made people mad at her!
“I’ve seen the suit. The suit is unbelievably cool. It’s a total reinvention. It looks great.”
This statement was too much for the people to bear since it was essentially a spoiler that the iconic suit of Batman in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy was being ditched for a more modern-ish and robotic look. The actress quickly realized her mistake later when she was confronted about the statements.

After these comments, the actress was confronted since she was revealing spoilers albeit accidentally. In another interview, the actress was quick to highlight the comments and stated that she is learning to not say such stuff.
“Dude, I have gotten in some trouble for my little quotes and I am learning to whoop [zipped-lips motion]. I thought that I was saying things that were foregone conclusions. It turns out nothing is, and you will not be hearing from me on the Batman front,”
