The Iron Claw, a film about the renowned Von Erich family starring the popular American actor Zac Efron, became the talk of the town recently after theBaywatchstar’s jacked-up photos from the movie’s set surfaced on the internet. The pictures even earned a response from Kevin Von Erich, an esteemed member of the famous Von Erich family, as he acknowledged Zac Efron for portraying him in the movie.

The presently-retired American professional wrestler recently appeared in an interview withTMZwherein he talked about the upcoming film and the role of the17 Againactor in it, claiming that it’s going to be quite a tough job for Zac Efron and the rest of the crew to do justice to his family’s legacy.

Kevin Ross Adkisson, aka, Kevin Von Erich, one of the members of the popular Von Erich family, recently talked aboutZac Efron taking over as him inThe Iron Clawin an interview withTMZ. He shared his two cents about the movie, claiming that carrying out the plot and cast of the film was not going to be an easy feat whilst simultaneously also acknowledging Efron’s build after his photos from the set floated online.

“It’s going to be a hard job, I think. It’s a lot of information and a lot of time (to cover), so they’ve got a lot of work ahead of them,”Kevin stated.“But I saw a picture of the guy (Efron), he looked great. Man, I don’t think I ever looked that good. I think they’re going to do great.”The retired American wrestler also addressed the movie’s director Sean Durkin, and said that he“seemed like a really nice guy.”

Kevin’s sons, Ross and Marshall Von Erich were also seen praising theNeighboursstar as they posted a picture with him online and expressed their excitement for the project inspired by their family’s history.

And while Zac Efron will play the role of Kevin Von Erich in the upcoming movie, the rest of the cast includesJeremy Allen White, Harry Dickinson, Holt McCallany, Maura Tierney, and Lily James.

The movie is based on the Von Erich family and the profound imprint that it left on wrestling as a sport in the 1960s till the present day, and will be depicting true events that went down in the family’s history.

Although an official release date for the film hasn’t been revealed yet, sources claim it is likely for it to be released in 2023.
