Why was Kirsten Dunst fed up with dating actors?
In a 2007 interview withJaneMagazine,Kirsten Dunstrevealed the challenges she faced while dating Hollywood actors. Being in a relationship with Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell back in the day, Dunst went on to say,
“I don’t ever want to date another actor again. This quote is probably going to come back in my face, but I know someone who has a great saying: ‘There are no actors, there are only actresses.’ Sometimes creative people can be very dark and destructive.”
However, despite her vow to never date any actor again, Dunst made sure to assert that not all actors were the same. Explaining how some of them weren’t exactly dark and destructive, she further added,
“I’m only saying bad things. I do know a few actors who are good and sweet and adorable.”
And it’s safe to say, that theSpider-Manactor soon found a ‘good and sweet and adorable’ actor who forced her to break her vow.

Jesse Plemons! So, after a string of bad experiences, Kirsten Dunst decided to avoid any romantic relationships with actors. However, little did she know that she would end up marrying one!
Having worked together in the television seriesFargo, Dunst shared that she fell in love with her ‘soulmate’Jesse Plemons‘creatively.’ She revealed,
“He was like a creative soul mate to me and the way we both work. On Fargo, I knew after two weeks. I didn’t remember saying this, but one of my best friends told me that I said to her that ‘I will know this man for the rest of my life. I just know it.’ Just because I felt such an immediate connection.”

Jesse Plemons on falling in love with Dunst
During Kirsten Dunst’sHollywood Walk of FameCeremony, Jesse Plemons revealed that it was love at first for him. Reminiscing about how he first saw hisFargoco-actor while standing in line at LAX, Plemons described how he was immediately drawn toward her.
Sharing how Dunst called his name from behind, Plemons revealed that when he first looked into her eyes he saw a ‘beautiful, sweet, unguarded, welcoming human being.’ And that made him fall in love with her instantly.
Isn’t that ‘good and sweet and adorable’? Exactly what Dusnt was looking for! However, despite the immense love shared by the two, the actors had to wait for a long time before exchanging the vows. Amidst her two pregnancies and the pandemic, the actors could not find a convenient time to get married.
