Tom Holland once shared in an interview about bouncing back if his films were not as successful as they were at the box office. The actor had drawn a comparison from former Spider-man Andrew Garfield’s exit from the role.

Tom Holland opens up on his insecurities if hisSpider-manflopped
In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, Holland opened up on carrying forward the legacy of Spider-man after Andrew Garfield. The actor also shared feeling insecure if his first film had not landed well at the box office. The star feared he would have had a tough time bouncing back in the second part of the franchise.
Tom Hollandshared,
“If I’d made my second movie and it didn’t necessarily deliver in the way it should have done, and they recast me, I would really struggle to bounce back.”
TheUnchartedstar also shared he regrets not callingAndrew Garfieldafter getting the role of Spider-man inSpider-man: Homecoming. He shared,

“Andrew bounced back in the most unbelievable way. I just wish I’d called him and just said, ‘You know I can’t turn down this opportunity.’”
The actor finally got the chance to express appreciation for the two other Spider-Men at the set of his filmNo Way Home. Speaking about the time they spent together,

“It was wonderful. Myself, Andrew, Tobey – we have this amazing bond as three people who have been through something that is so unique that we really are like brothers.”
Holland also revealed they have a shared WhatsApp group with a hilarious name.

During an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter,The Crowded Roomactor said he regrets not reaching out to Andrew Garfield, his predecessor after he was cast as the new Spider-Man.The Impossibleactor stated that he would have been heartbroken if he was told that hewas done, and this other kid was taking over.He said,
“Something I can look back on now with a little bit of clarity and regret is that I never called [Garfield] when I took over as Spider-Man. Had someone said to me after my second movie that I was done, and this other kid was taking over, I would’ve been heartbroken. So looking back, I wish I had the chance to make amends with him, but this film was our opportunity.”
