Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta AKALady Gagahas been making headlines again ever since news about her starring in the upcomingJokersequel surfaced. However, what’s more, interesting is that theBad Romancesinger has managed to drive even the DP ofJoker: Folie à Deuxinsane with her‘extreme’Method acting tricks.
According to recent updates from the film set, cinematographer Lawrence Sher revealed how contrasting personalities he and Gaga have, saying,
“I didn’t know Stefani at all. Strangely, I felt like I never even met her, even during the makeup/hair tests. Because again, maybe it was my philosophy of not trying to get in their space. And then I remember for a week, being like, god, I feel like we are disconnecting. Not even connecting. We are like on opposites. And I would say to my crew, ‘Jesus, I can’t, like, crack it. She either hates me or we hate each other. There’s something weird going on here.’ I barely said anything, except I would say, ‘Stefani, this is where your second team was, minor little things.’”
Sher also went ahead to share how the 37-year-old actress changed the entire mood on the sets, changing the entire dynamic altogether, saying,
“And then the AD at one point said, ‘Oh you know, Stef would like if you just called her Lee on set.’ And I was like, oh, 100 percent, and I literally said, the next thing I said, was something ‘Lee,’ and it was like everything changed. From that point on, it was like she was… our whole connection changed. I was like, alright, cool.”
While the meaning of‘Lee’remains uncertain and the cinematographer seems too done and tired with her sh*t to care, many claim that Lady Gaga’s extreme Method acting is good enough to rival the male anti-hero, Joaquin Pheonix himself.

Lady Gaga’s Role In DCEU’sJoker: Folie à Deux
After theJoaquin Phoenixversion ofJokerbecame a super hit in 2019 with the actor securing a Best Actor Oscar for his bewildering performance, DCEU decided on a sequel namedJoker: Folie à Deux.Although not many details have been revealed regarding the upcoming movie, Lady Gaga has been confirmed to portray the character of Harley Quinn, Joker’s love interest.
Although a bit extreme, Gaga is renowned for playing her assigned roles in the best possible way by delving into the character’s personality and imagining herself to be the character in real life. Due to this reason too, fans are excited and looking forward to the sequel and to Lady Gaga’s extraordinary portrayal of the Clown Princess of Crime.
