Although theAttack on Titanfinal episode was released a few days ago, the English dub of the finale chapter 1 has not been released yet. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the dubbed version of the series finale’s first chapter and Crunchyroll finally announced the release date for it recently.

Along with the news for the dubbed version, additionally, a new trailer has been released, demonstrating that the main characters must band together to prevent Eren from committing complete genocide. The dubbed version of the first special on Crunchyroll will be released on Sunday, September 10 at 10:30 Pacific Time.
Although there is no news about the second chapter, Matthew Mercer, the voice behind Levi Ackerman has revealed through a heartfelt message that the final session of voice recording has been ended, thus marking the end of his journey withAttack on Titanand Levi Ackerman from the series.

Levi Ackerman’s Voice Artist Bids Farewell To His Iconic Character
American voice actor Matthew Mercer does voices for Japanese anime, cartoons, and video games in English. Levi Ackerman inAttack on Titan, Jotaro Kujo inJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the second voice of Yamato and Pain inNaruto, Trafalgar Law in the Funimation dub ofOne Piece, Hit inDragon Ball Super, and Leorio inHunter x Hunterare just a few of the well-known characters that Mercer has provided voices for.
In a recentInstagram post, Mercer talked about how the final session ofAttack on Titandubbing has ended and he was honored to voice Levi Ackerman. He said:

“Just finished my final session of Attack on Titan and I am left emotional, proud, and grateful. Levi has been such a special character to me, and getting to step up alongside the incredible Hiroshi Kamiya to bring him to life is an honor.”
Mercer talked about how he is emotional that the series has finally ended, but it also makes him feel proud and grateful to be a part of such a big anime and get the opportunity to voice one of the most popular anime characters in the series.

Matthew Mercer Voiced Levi For 10 Years
In the Instagram post, Mercer also talked about how he has been a part of the series for more than a decade and he feels sad about closing one of the biggest chapters of his life. He said:
“Closing the chapter on any project is bittersweet, let alone one that has been with me for over a decade. I am so appreciative that @mikemcfarlandva entrusted me with the little badass. I’m grateful to have been among so many brilliant VAs across this project. I am thankful for all of YOU that showed your love of this project, and of Levi, through the years.”

He thanked the fans for supporting him and Levi over the years which helped him a lot. Mercer’s journey withAttack on Titanhas finally ended but he still has a long way to go with other anime series that he has been a part of for so long.
