A new activity, known as Invasions, released withSeason 1of The First Descendant. These new missions pit us against the Vulgus who now have Ancestral weapons to boost their arsenals. Also, the Invasion Mission drop a new unique resources needed to craft Hailey, the newest Descendant, called DNA. Below we detail what are invasion missions, how to unlock them, and all the rewards possible for completing them in the First Descendant.
What are Invasion Missions
Invasion Missions are the newest missions in The First Descendant, pitting our characters against the Vulgus, who are equipped with new ancestral-powered weapons. Also, these missions are split into two variants, Infiltration Operations and Disrupt invasions.
Invasion Mission Features in the First Descendant:
Disruption Invasion missions are the newest style of missions released in The First Descendant. They are solo only missions with color matching puzzles and a boss fight all of which you need to complete as fast as possible to reach maximum rewards. How to Unlock Invasion Missions
Upon loading into the game after the patch, you will need to head to HQ and speak to Nell. She gives you a new questline with the first quest “Fallen Teammates”. During this questline you will gain access to the Inversion Reinforcement, a new seasonal passive buff path designed to give additional power bonuses each season.
Eventually you will get a quest called Hailey Rescue Operation in which you are attempting a rescue operation for Hailey. Once, you complete the mission you will gain access to the Invasion Mission locations located at two zones on the map each day.
Rewards for Invasion Missions
Rewards for Invasion Mission in the First Descendant include Hailey DNA parts, Ironheart Particles, and various resources and materials. You will needHaileyDNA parts to craft the various parts of Hailey. Also, you will use Ironheart Particles to unlock passives in the Inversion Reinforcement tab on your character sheet.
