Marvel’s Spider-Man 2has been the talk of the town every since the footage shown at the Playstation Showcase back in May was released. The hype only grew bigger as shortly after that reveal the release date for the game was announced at Summer Games Fest for October 20th 2023. Since then, fans have scouring the internet and creating theories for any new detail about the game. Fortunately for fans, new information will be shown off at San Diego Comic-Con, but we may have gotten some new details even before then.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Reveal shows Peter Parker Will Be WINGING It
While many fans that watched the footage from the showcase noticed that the iconic Web Wings will be a new traversal mechanic, some fans were wondering if we’d see the original Web Wings. Fortunately for players and comic fans, it seems that their wishes have come true. Hot Toys has announced new figures of both Spider-Men inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2. While Miles has nothing noteworthy, Peter’s figurine has some new an interesting details. Firstly we see that Peter will be sporting the iconic version of the Web Wings. Many people were unsure if we’d see these variations of the wings as in the trailer they’re the same for both Spider-Men.Another thing we see in the figures in the return of the Spider Bot. In the original game, the Spider Bot was a gadget that could stun enemies and make them easier to take down. In certain story and side quest missions, we’d play in first person as the Spider Bot as it would disarm bombs and hunt down criminals. The design in the original game was very simplistic; being merely a half circle with legs. It appears that Spider Bot will be getting a HUGE redesign as it now resembles and actual spider. It even has a white spider logo on its back to match its creators, very nice touch. Now what role Spider Bot will play in the game is yet to be known, but it’s nice to see the return of a fan favorite gadget.Lastly we see a new look at Peter’s new Iron Spider Legs. These were unlocked when players crafted the Iron Spider suit inMarvel’s Spider-Man, and it’s nice to see them make a return but as an addition to the main suit. In the announcement trailer forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, they are shown to be red, but here we see them as pure white. Their functionality in theMarvel’s Spider-Manwere as an assistance in beating down bad guys, it it seems that they’ll function similarly in the new game. Not Toying Around with the Latest Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Reveal
While we can’t confirm that all these features will appear in the actual game, these Hot Toy figures invoke more excitment forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2which is all they really need to do. The Web Wings are indeed a big part of the game, and hopefully they are like they are on the toys.
