Jake Roberts Lambasted Vince McMahon For His Unprofessional Decision

Since, WWE refused to show the basic dignity to the decorated wrestler, his widow, Dr. Martha Hart, cut ties with the company and pro wrestling. But the wrestling world did not forget his contribution as his wrestling legacy was revived by AEW and the Owen Hart Cup, presented in partnership with the Owen Hart Foundation, which was founded by Martha Hart.

While the cause of the sudden death of the wrestler remained a mystery at first subsequent reports suggest that he died from a heart attack, possibly combined with other health problems, and complications linked to COVID-19. As a result, of this heartbreaking news, an outpouring of messages and prayers came in from fans and prominent WWE stars.

Though Wyatt had gone too soon, he left a lasting mark in the industry, as he became one of the best supernatural personas of WWE, even getting compared to The Deadman, The Undertaker. He had won both world championships twice, conquering both the WWE and Universal Championships. While his legacy was cemented in WWE, his absence would be felt by every wrestling fan.
