Diablo 4was one of the most anticipated titles of the year, especially once you consider that fans had high expectations for a mainline entry after the horrible launch ofDiablo Immortal.Rest assured, fans are really enjoying the new entry in the huge franchise.
Some players have been discussing what they think the best addition to the game is. In fact, it’s been a hotly discussed topic. ‘What makes the newDiablostandout fromDiablo 3?’Fans have unanimously agreed that one massive feature of the game is not only a breath of fresh air, but it’s also simply a ton of fun. This feature is none other than the newly added Strongholds.

Best New Content in Diablo 4 – Strongholds
Blizzard has added a bunch of new content in the latest iteration ofDiablo, such as Mounts, Malignant Hearts etc. Though fans wish for some of the features ofDiablo 3to return, Strongholds are something that pretty much every fan is enjoying.
Within the multiple regions of Sanctuary, there are multiple Strongholds dotted across the map. The game will notify you when you are close to one, and you’ll have the opportunity to retake it for the people of Sanctuary by ridding it of enemies and completing the objectives. You can complete Strongholds either solo or in a party, and they give handsome rewards for their completion.
Strongholds are a great addition to the game. They are challenging but worth completing because of the rewards that one can get from them. Not only do you get a hefty Renown reward, but also a new safe zone is also created for the player, with merchants and townsfolk now returning to the area. A waypoint is also set, which saves a ton of time and is very useful.

Fans Are Loving Strongholds
Across the entireDiablofandom, fans are agreeing with one another that Strongholds are tons of fun and very satisfying to complete. Reddit user Extension-Cold-4745 made apostthat detailed why they thought Strongholds were so good. They mention how they enjoy doing those over anything else inDiablo 4.A user on the same thread, Ferrenry, replied that they think strongholds are really ‘god damn fun’.
Another user by the handle of oargestory titled their post ‘Strongholds are the best content in the game rn’. All over the Internet, there are fans enjoying these Strongholds to the fullest, but one thing that pretty much all of them are agree on is that they should be replayable. There are only 15 Strongholds across the entire game, which isn’t really a lot considering the game’s massive size. Blizzard should patch in the ability to replay Strongholds, as they seem to be what most fans are gravitating towards.
