It seems that the two stars really hit it off and got close during the making of the film. As reported by TMZ,Angelina JolieandSalma Hayekwere recently seen dining together along with their kids at the Nice Guy Saturday in L.A. Hayek was joined by her daughter Valentina and Jolie was joined by her daughter Pax.
This new close bond between the two actresses has the paparazzi and fans curious and intrigued as to whether a sequel ofEternalsis in the works or if are they teaming up for any other project whatsoever.

Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek are Working on a Movie Together
It seems that Salma Hayek is playing the lead in Angelina Jolie’s fifth directorial feature calledWithout Bloodwhich is based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Alessandro Baricco. The story had a profound impact on Jolie and she decided that it would be her next venture as a director. She told People magazine,
“The book had an impact on me as it has so many other people. It carries themes and questions important to discuss…Salma and Demián are very authentic and brave in this film. I had been a fan of their work. I knew they would bring solid commitment and craft to the film but honestly, they both blew me away.”
Hayek had equal admiration and praise for her director Jolie saying she might be“probably the best director I’ve ever worked with”.It seems that the two stars found each other on the sets ofEternalsand got along well together so they decided to work together on a project they both resonated with.

IsEternals 2Happening?
As of the already announced projects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are no plans of making anEternals 2as of yet. Marvel has a lot going on right now as they are still dealing with multiple projects as part of Phases 5 and 6 and there seems to be no place for theEternalsteam to fit in. The dismal box office returns of the first film may also be a factor of why they did not immediately announce a second film but they will have a place somewhere in the foreseeable future of the MCU.
