With just a week left in the release of Doctor Strange 2, fans are excited to see some of their favorite comic characters make a debut. The movie’s trailers and teasers have already confirmed a few characters.Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to be one of the biggest moviesin the MCU. It is the film through which the Marvel Cinematic Universe fully embraces the concept of the multiverse. The concept was introduced in No Way Home. And now that the multiverse of Marvel is connecting, many characters would become a part of the MCU. Here is a list of every new character who will make their MCU debut in Doctor Strange 2.
Black Bolt is making his debut in Doctor Strange 2
Anson Mount is reprising his role as Black Boltas his character makes his MCU debut. Previously, he played the role in the series Inhumans. But the series was discontinued as it was a major flop. He is the King of Attilan and is the master of a voice that can cause destruction. That is why he remains silent for the safety of those around him.
Mr. Fantastic joins MCU through Doctor Strange 2
The latest trailer of theDoctor Strange sequel has confirmed the involvement of the Illuminatiin the film. So, this could also mean that we get to see John Krasinski in the role of Richard Reeds in the movie. The actor playing the role had also been hinted at by Chiwetel Ejiofor, in an interview. Also, it is some good news for the Mr. Fantastic fans.
Captain Carter will be making her MCU debut
Coming from What If…? to live-action, Captain Carter is joining the Multiverse of Madness crew.Hayley Atwell will be playing the role, also reprising her character from the Captain America movie. The recent teaser had a short glimpse of the character in battle with the Scarlet Witch. This means that Doctor Strange 2 teaser has made the fans more excited to watch the upcoming movie.
America Chavez is in Doctor Strange 2
Among one of the earliest characters to beconfirmed in the movie was America Chavez. With Xochitl Gomez playing the role, she is going to be an interesting character to watch in live-action. She is shown fighting alongside Steven Strange. Also is a part of the team as they try to fight a secret enemy from the multiverse.
Professor X is making his MCU debut
Among other characters hinted at in the recent trailer, Professor X is one too. His yellow chair from the Marvel comics was shown in the teaser. Also,Patrick Stewart is a confirmed castof the upcoming movie. The fans loved him in the role in the X-Men movies and so he is joining MCU, reprising his character.
Monica Rambeau’s Captain Marvel is in Doctor Strange 2
In the recent TV spot of Multiverse of Madness, Monica Rambeau’s version of Captain Marvel can be seen. It is not quite confirmed yet, but the viewers are sure of what they saw. There was some speculation that it could be Tom Cruise’s Superior Iron Man. But now it is pretty clear that this is Monica Rambeau as Captain Marvel.
Gargantos is making its debut in Doctor Strange 2
Through a Twitter update, it was been confirmed thatYenifer Molina has joined Doctor Strange 2’s cast lineup as Gargantos. To those who do not know, Gargantos is a sea monster commanded by Naga. And Naga is the emperor of Lemuria and wields the mystical serpent crown. The character will surely be an interesting one to watch in the film.
