Daredevilis one of the most beloved series of all time, having a dedicated fan base and passionate supporters of the masterpiece that is this three-season series. Featuring beautiful storylines, fantastic performances, and magnificent cinematography, the only thing negative about this series is the fact that it ended too soon. It would seem that this is something that Marvel also agrees with, with the new series,Daredevil: Born Again, being in production right now.
Though this series has taken a few steps back, with it going back to square one when it comes to production, fans are very hopeful that it will meet their expectations. The one character that fans may be glad is not featuring in the series is that of Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll. Recently, this character has been defended by fans against the mass hate.

The Hate That Daredevil’s Karen Page Receives
Karen Page fromDaredevilis perhaps one of the most hated characters to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite her being one of the core loving interests of the character of Matt Murdock. Played by Deborah Ann Woll in the Disney+ series, there are many reasons why fans hate this character and they are very vocal about them.
Many simply state that they cannot stand her character due to her arrogance, as well as the fact that they think that she makes people do things that end up getting them killed, and is never held accountable for this. They think her to be selfish and think her damaged past makes her all the more unlikeable. Many fans have even stated that they wish for her character to get killed off in the upcoming series, which is something they may not have to worry about as there has been no indication that she will be coming back in the reboot.

Karen Page Gets Defended By Daredevil Fans
Despite this very vocal and very harsh criticism, there are many fans who do not understand the hate that Karen Page receives. One such fan spoke out about this onReddit.They stated they do not understand why the people who hate this character are so passionate about it as though she has done them some personal harm. They added that they believe one of the biggest reasons why they dislike a character is because of the way she was towards Matt Murdock, after finding out that he is Daredevil.

Many do not like her character for not supporting Matt in his self-deprecating rabbit hole and the fact that he was extremely selfish toward his friends. They stated that putting yourself in her shoes makes you understand why she acted the way she did towards his character and at the end of the day she’s just another flawed character in a series about flawed people.
