Deathstroke DC

Created by Ed Brisson, Dexter Soy, Veronica Gandini, and Steve Wands,Deathstroke Inc. #11follows Slade Wilson having a difficult time rekindling his relationship with his family. The purpose of the experiment is to make him the best killer in the world. It also meant shutting down parts of his mind and body that may impede the mission, that is emotional attachment. This is done to ensure that the weapon will not feel remorse or hesitation in executing orders.

Wilson is neither a good person at all, and when he agreed to do the experiment on him, there was already something different in his mind and body. Some would say this was his body’s way of preparing itself for the experiment that is truly intended for someone like him.

What Happened To Deathstroke After The Experiment?

In one account, Deathstroke confesses he feels fire in his brain. This is his body’s way of adjusting to the alterations and rewiring itself to carry its new home. Since the purpose of the experiment was to create the perfect weapon capable of obliterating anyone the military wanted to, it just did not take only the physical body. It was more on the inner workings of the mind, someone who can shoot a gun or swing a sword without feeling mercy.

Of course, the consequences are ever-present. Wilson’s struggle to reconnect with his family grows harder every day. One cannot tell if this rift between him and his family has always been an issue. His wife also noticed the changes in Wilson’s attitude towards her and their son.

The takeaway here is that Deathstroke has never been the same since the experiment, and he is now incapable of feeling any kind of love.
