Fans Get The First Ever Look At Black Adam At The DC FanDome Event
It’s here! The wait is over as we have an all new feature film to finally look forward to. TheDwayne Johnsonstarer Black Adam has got its incredible first look as the anti-hero is in to hit the floors. We have received an exclusive animated walk through of Black Adam’s story narrated byDwayne Johnsonhimself at the DC FanDome Virtual Convention.
It’s pretty clear that The Rock now being one of the most popular and highest paid movie stars in the world has significantly increased Black Adam’s importance in the DC Extended Universe.
The brief introduction and stories of the film’s background as shared by The Rock have told us about how Black Adam was imprisoned with slavery in Kahndaq for 5,000 years and has now returned in an unstoppable form. Talking about the characters who are in to be present with him alongside, he has listed Hawkman (a winged superhero), Doctor Fate (a sorcerer), Cyclone and Atom Smasher. The four happen to be a part of an organization that believes in fighting for truth and justice, popularly called the Justice Society of America.
It’s been nearly five years since Dwayne Johnson was confirmed to play the Black Adam and having finally getting a backdrop of this astounding story has left us all waiting and wanting for more.
Minutes before DC FanDome started, Dwayne Johnson with a few seconds teaser got his fans impatient for Black Adam by revealing the first full look at the character. Johnson who will be joined by theTo All The Boys I’ve LovedBefore star Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher is in to play a character which’s arguably almost as strong as Superman.
The story of Black Adam revolves around a man from the ancient times who had acquired the power of six mythological Gods. He has the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.
Black Adam who has long been associated to the Shazam family has been given a detailed designed armored suit unlike his counter part Shazam himself, who sports a glossy spandex costume. The glowing lightning bolt that starts at the front of the collar or the “ancient” design touches in other areas of the suit gives Black Adam a badass look.
Not much information about the film’s release was discussed but it being stated to release June 29, 2025 in cinemas worldwide.However the filming is expected to begin in early 2021.We can’t wait to hear more about this film. Let us know in the comments below what you feel.
