WhileCaptain Marvelwas Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first female-led film, the fans, unfortunately, did not care about the film or the superhero as much as they did about other characters. Brie Larson, too, found herself on the receiving end of a ton of backlash and hate. The dislike not only stemmed from the film but also due to some personal opinions of the actress. To date, Brie Larson and theCaptain Marvelfranchise haven’t found a place in the hearts of a majority of the fans.

However, Brie Larson is an incredible actress and there is no denying that. In fact, she is such a good actress that she didn’t let anyone know she was playing Carol Danvers in the MCU. When asked about the role, she pretended not to know the character and her acting was absolutely believable! Of course, after some time Brie Larson’s role in the superhero universe was revealed and fans bowed down to the actress for hiding it so perfectly.
