The 47-year-old got to work with Spielberg inWar Horse.The war drama gave Cumberbatch a chance to work with the likes of Tom Hiddleston and Emily Watson. But most importantly, it gave him a sneak peek into his director’s speculation with farts.

In an interview with James Corden onThe Late Late Show, theSherlockstar opened up about how he got Steven Spielberg worked up in a fart game with him and Tom Hiddleston. And that is how he bonded with theJawsdirector.
There was an application, one that had recorded all sorts of different farts from a“very amusingly labeled list”including“The Back Door Classic”and“Oh Gosh, Is That a Wet One?”.Steven Spielberg couldn’t help but play the game when he was offered the chance.

TheTinker Tailor Soldier Spystar recollected how Steven Spielberg got entangled in a game of matching farts with a specific color. TheReady Player Onedirector walked up on Cumberbatch while he was using the application on set. Spielberg’s interest was piqued.
The veteran couldn’t help but play. And Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t help but laugh. The latter told James Corden,

“Myself and Tom Hiddleston — who was in the film — were on the floor crying with laughter. Steven Spielberg was getting really riled … It went on far too long.”
