Spider-Man: No Way Home

Charlie Cox Talked About His Cameo inSpider-Man: No Way Home

After theTreasureactor’s involvement was reported in Tom Holland’s film, fans started to look for more hints that would confirm those speculations. It eventually led the actor to have a hard time doing press interviews to deflect any questions regarding his presence in the film.

In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter,he admitted that he hated lying to anyone about anything but he also made sure to keep the anticipation of fans locked otherwise it would ruin the surprise.

“I hate lying. But I really don’t want to ruin it for anyone. My feeling is if someone asks you, and you say, ‘I don’t know … We’ll have to wait and see.’ That gives it away! It’s obvious! No one is going to say that if you’re not in it. I am relieved it’s over.”

He further mentioned how Garfield and he decided to keep their appearances a secret from anyone. During a lunch together, he recalled,

“While we were sitting down, it occurred to both of us, ‘Oh, sh-t. If we’re filmed here together, that’s not a good sign.’ So we ended up sitting, facing the wall, both of us.”

Their efforts eventually paid off which contributed to the movie’s success. It surged past $1.9 billion worldwide setting numerous records.
