10 Fixes for Animated Album Art Not Working on Apple Music

1. Check iOS Version

3. Check Internet Connection
Animated art only works when Apple Music is connected to the internet. Therefore, it won’t work with the downloaded songs while listening to them offline. Also, poor internet connection can also disable the animated art. You cancheck your internet speedto ensure that the internet is running fine. There are also apps like Fast (From Netflix) and Speedtest that can download to test internet speeds.

4. Disable Low Power Mode

5. Turn Off Reduce Motion
If theReduce Motion settingon your iPhone is enabled, it can reduce the motion and animation on your screen resulting in animated art getting disabled on Apple Music automatically. Let’s check if this setting is enabled for your iPhone and then disable it.

2.Disable this setting by tapping on the toggle next toIncrease Contrast.
7. Enable Background Refresh
Disabling Background App Refresh on your iPhone may cause the cover art to not animate. This occurs because the app is not updating in the background, potentially leading to the album’s animation not being retrieved.
1.Head toSettings > General. Within the General settings menu, scroll down and tap onBackground App Refresh.
2.Here, tap onBackground App Refreshand selectWi-Fi & Cellular Data.
3.Also, scroll through the list of apps and make sure background app refresh is enabled for Music.
8. Reinstall Apple Music App
If animated art is still not working on your iPhone, uninstalling and reinstalling the Apple Music app may solve this issue.
